Job Responsibilities:

• Provides high quality, safe and motivating instruction based on WERQ formats; provides adaptations based on individual needs.
• Increases member retention by providing personalized member experiences and building positive relationships with and among members, staff, volunteers and/or guests. Creates a supportive and uplifting community environment.
• Facilitates the development of small communities, helping members to connect with other members.
• Ensures the safety of all members and guests.
• Be available to support fellow instructors by subbing where possible.
• Utilize our fitness instructor app as an information hub, sub requests, attendance tracking, etc.
• Work within our class perimeters of in-person, virtual and outdoors
• Utilize excellent communication skills with members, coworkers and supervisors
• Complete required facility training programs when necessary

Position Skills and Experience :

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current WERQ Instructor certification required.
• Flexibility in scheduling is preferred.
