Assistant Swim Team Coach assists in conducting quality practices which foster a positive swimming experience, educational experience, aid in personal development, and contributes to self discipline for the adults and children in our programs.

HOURS:
Monday -Thursday between 4:15-9pm and 4:15-6pm on Friday-this is flexible

Responsibilities:

• Assists Swim Team Head Coach during practice and at competitions.
• Ensures safe environment for all swimmers and spectators
• Provides instruction in stroke technique as well as starts and turns.
• Develops and administers strong team discipline at all times.
• Attends scheduled swim meets
• Builds team leadership, encourages good sportsmanship, team loyalty, hard work and courteous, respectful behavior.
• Demonstrates a cheerful, positive attitude.

Qualifications:

• Competitive swimming experience at the high school level or collegiate level required.
• Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR/AED certifications desired
• Safety Training for Swim Coaches certification is desired.
